New Year's Eve, 2005

Wayne and Garth, you said it all:
Party time,
Excellent.

Champagne, beer, and vodka
Will wash the streets of this
Dirty old town.

Too many people pressed together
In too small a space will smile, saying
Inane, sparkling things to each other.

It will be wonderful, it will be
Fantastic, Like everyone you've ever kissed
Rolled into one laughing mouth.

Happy New Year, and keep ripping shit up.

Thank you, Jimi. It's party time in England as we speak, isn't it? 1900 or something?

So often, I think about Wayne and Garth, and all the ways that those two have enriched my life and influenced my major decisions.

Oh, David, have you met Jimi, my fiance?

Marriage is a venerable institution. I'm just not ready to be committed yet.

Why have I never heard that before? It's rather brilliant, despite being completely at odds with my actual beliefs. I believe in marriage; I just don't believe in it for most people.

And I didn't even kiss anybody when Big Benjamin chimed. *sigh* Conducting a transatlantic relationship is hard.

I didn't kiss anyone either. I was Clurg-free last night.

It's okay, Jimi, it's a transatlantic open relationship, so you can have all the British girls you want and I get to keep my grumpy boyfriend. We'll just happen to be married. It'll make a good conversation starter, at the very least.

I'm feeling pretty rough today. I think I'll go on a walk around the slushy streets of st paul and stare at my shoes.

I got really drunk and loud for New Year's Eve, something I don't normally do. Apparently, when I drink, I tend to get really mean. Not physically, but I just make fun of people a lot more than I normally might. I had to have a day for recovery.

Cool, Stephanie. I get stalked down a lot less often than most people think. Your handle's image is beautiful.

"There's a little piece of Maria in every song I sing."

Blog cat fight!

Oh. Not as exciting, is it?
